Well that’s kinda funny how the focus from the MC looking for his teacher to his sudden appearing father now dead mother haha too crazy, but well them Chinese studios got a hell of a crazy and in some part lazy mind to have this kinda story change so sudden without further notice, though I gotta admit I’m still a sucker for these kind of cultivation donghuas even tho I didn’t try it till it was 100+ eps, after a a few you dive kinda deep into the so called story, well deep as u can in these faster then light 7min eps xD.

I wouldn’t say it’s a sudden change since his teacher did tell him to look for his mother, the search for his mother would obviously lead to clues of his father or finding his father as well. It’s clear his father might have married into mother’s family, the teacher must have been entrusted by the mum to take care of him.

I agree with you, I kinda lost focus on the story, I guess I see too many Donghua at once, since you just remind me that his teacher asked him to search for his mother, something I do not recall at all lol, my bad memory tho XD thanks for the reminder though
